If you need static IP addresses you must let us know when ordering service. Adding or removing static IP addresses after installation results in another $100 installation fee.

Blaze Connect requires new equipment professionally installed. Our new Broadband modems have 4 Ethernet switch ports and free built-in WPA2 secured WiFi. A technician visit will be set up for the delivery and installation of the modem. Customer must be available and on-site for the installation. Some installations require two technician visits for completion. Occasionally installation will necessitate the need to install a new iNID (network interface for vDSL transport). If customer has existing services from AT&T, those services will be transferred into the new iNID.

Inside wiring

Professional installation of Broadband service includes the delivery of the Blaze Connect modem or router along with any filters, splitters, jacks or basic wiring needed. Technicians will not drill holes or trace wiring. If, during an installation appointment, it is determined that additional inside wiring is required, then the field service technician will confirm that the vDSL is successfully installed to the NID and the order will be closed. The customer is responsible for any additional inside wiring in those rare circumstances. The customer is responsible to connect any Ethernet cables between router and computer. WiFi username and password are embeded in the router enclosure.

For all Professional Installation appointments, keep in mind that a responsible party must be on location for the scheduled appointment date to grant access to the Field Service Technician (FST). If no one is present, the FST will attempt to contact Blaze Connect and the end-user by phone for up to 15 minutes. Re-scheduling a new installation appointment may result in a $100 missed appointment fee.
